The charging cables are routed outside through a flame-retardant opening. If a battery does catch fire, the resulting internal pressure can escape. This happens through the top ventilation holes, and at the same time, the smoke is filtered. Inside the box, temperatures can reach up to 800° during a fire. Thanks to the special insulation of the box, the outside of the bottom and sidewall will only get up to a maximum of 80° hot.
