The ailerons are controlled by 2 servos, which are actuated in the wing by short direct wire linkages.\u003cbr\u003e\nThe wing halves are connected with a carbon fiber tube connector and secured with a screw on the underside of the wing. The tailplane in the classic arrangement is also made of EPO foam and is controlled by pushrods. The motor is cooled by the airflow that flows through the pylon and motor openings. In this case, both aileron servos are connected to one channel with a Y-cable.\u003cbr\u003e\nWhen connecting the receiver, follow the operating instructions of your RC set. It is ideal to use at least a 5-channel computer RC set. This allows the aileron servos to be controlled independently. In this case, you can set the differential of the aileron deflections. For beginners, we recommend 50% - i.e. the downward deflection of the aileron is limited to 50% of the upward deflection.\u003cbr\u003e\nTo facilitate landing, it is advantageous to mix the ailerons as aerodynamic brakes (tilt them upwards). You will appreciate this on smaller landing areas and especially when flying on slopes.\u003cbr\u003e\nWhen setting the aerodynamic brakes, make sure that when the ailerons are fully deflected upwards in the braking function, the possibility of their full upward deflection in the aileron function is also maintained.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eBETA 1400 is suitable for flight beginners - we always recommend - making the first flights under the supervision of an experienced pilot to enjoy a relaxing time with model flying.\u003cbr\u003e\nThe flight characteristics are pleasant. The model familiarizes you with control around all three axes as well as with correct coordinated control with rudder, elevator and ailerons. This experience is useful when you start flying with your first aerobatic model or semi-\/scale model.\u003cbr\u003e\nBy changing the length ratios of the servo and control horns, you can adjust the control throws. The flight beginner starts with small deflections.
