The force is transmitted centrally to the servo gearing, which prevents jamming of the servo output. The servo arms are made from highly compressed carbon fiber plastic. At 300 °C and under high pressure, the arms are formed into their shape in hardened stainless steel molds. Since this process is similar to the manufacturing of highly stressed components in large aircraft construction, it has been adopted for the production of these servo arms. The result is a high-strength arm that does not shy away from comparison with aluminum. However, it is lighter and more vibration-resistant than aluminum.
