The switching function is handled by vibration-proof and fail-safe high-power FETs, which are characterized by very low internal resistance and thus very low power losses. A conventional mechanical slide switch serves as the ON\/OFF switching element. The operating status is very easy to see. Should a defect occur in the slide switch or its connecting cables, the electronics ensure that the last active switching state (ON\/OFF) is maintained. This means that even if the switch cable vibrates loose during flight, the receiver circuit remains switched on and thus the receiver system remains functional.
