In accordance with SM-Modellbau's philosophy of supporting as many systems as possible, the UniSens-E also speaks the language of Jeti Duplex (EX), Multiplex M-Link, Graupner HoTT, Robbe\/Futaba FASSTest, and JR DMSS. The UniSens-E automatically recognizes HoTT telemetry systems upon delivery. When used with Jeti, Multiplex, Futaba, or JR, the telemetry must be set in advance in the settings. To change settings via PC or for firmware updates, a suitable USB interface such as order no. 2550 or an existing USB connection cable from Jeti, Multiplex, or Graupner is required. A special feature is that a brushless speed sensor is already permanently installed. To measure the speed, only a small cable connection to one of the three motor phases needs to be made with the included cable. Since a barometric (air pressure) altitude sensor with high resolution is also integrated, a Vario function is also realized with the UniSens-E in addition to altitude measurement. The current measuring range extends symmetrically in both directions.
