When using CFRP reinforcements in the fuselage or CFRP canopies, the antennas of 2.4 GHz receivers must always be routed outside. Otherwise, the range will be significantly reduced. In such cases, they are often moved during model transport and handling on the ground, as well as during landings, and in extreme cases, they can bend. To prevent cable breaks in the antenna cables, these aerodynamic protective fairings can be used.
The bend protection, made of elastic material, contains a channel through which the antenna is guided. It can be glued to the fuselage with superglue.
Please note that 2-3 cm of the antenna must protrude from the bend protection! Otherwise, there will be range limitations even here!
