Peel Ply 95 g/m² (plain weave) 1m wide, 2m long (2m²)
Peel ply has long been known in aircraft construction.
The plain weave fabric made from washed polyamide 6.6 (nylon) is applied as the last layer in an epoxy or polyester resin laminate. After curing or before bonding the parts, the peel ply is peeled off ("torn off"). It leaves a uniformly rough, contamination-free, bondable surface. Universal for epoxy, vinyl ester, and polyester resins.
