Peel Ply 95 g/m² (plain weave) 50cm wide, 2m long (1m²)
Peel ply has long been known in aircraft construction.
The plain weave fabric made of washed polyamide 6.6 (nylon) is applied as the last layer into an epoxy or polyester resin laminate. After curing or before bonding the parts, the peel ply is peeled off ("torn off"). It leaves a uniformly rough, contamination-free, bondable surface. Universally suitable for epoxy, vinyl ester, and polyester resins.
