Peel ply fabric has long been known in aircraft construction. The canvas fabric made of nylon is applied as the last layer to an epoxy or polyester resin laminate. After curing or before bonding the parts, the peel ply fabric is peeled off ("torn off"). It leaves behind a uniformly rough, grease-free, bondable surface. Universally applicable for epoxy, vinylester and polyester resins.
