Peel ply has long been known in aircraft construction. The plain weave fabric made of nylon is applied as the last layer in an epoxy or polyester resin laminate. After curing or before bonding the parts, the peel ply is peeled off ("torn off"). It leaves behind a uniformly rough, contamination-free, bondable surface.
Universally suitable for epoxy, vinylester and polyester resins.
