The scale replica of this well-known MD500E helicopter is in no way inferior to the original and impresses visually with many small details such as rivets, indicated door frames, LED lighting and the 5-blade rotor head, which is made of aluminum. The swashplate and the main rotor shaft are also made of aluminum. Blade holders and linkages are made of high-strength plastic and allow for play-free movement of all components.
The fuselage and chassis of the helicopter are made of impact-resistant ABS plastic, which significantly increases the durability of the material. The main and tail motors are designed as brushless motors, generating enough power for powerful and dynamic flight maneuvers. The built-in gyro electronics stabilize the model in all positions and provide a safe flying experience, which also inspires beginners. The flight behavior in hover mode is reminiscent of a coaxial helicopter. In normal flight, the system works like a speed or pitch-controlled helicopter. However, the auto-stabilization immediately reactivates when the remote control sticks are brought back to the center position. Thus, there are no nasty surprises during flight.
The model also features the popular auto-start and auto-landing system at the push of a button. Various flight phases (beginner, advanced, professional) can be switched on the transmitter, which leads to different servo deflections on the swashplate and thus changes the sensitivity of the model. The helicopter also has an Attitude Hold System (automatic altitude hold).

The transmitter system operates in the secure and interference-free 2.4GHz band, and due to its performance and size, the model is even suitable for outdoor use in relatively light winds.
