The aluminum connector molds from CAD CAM Office offer simple insulation for 8-pin connectors (plugs and sockets) using hot glue. The connectors, including the cables, are placed in the aluminum mold and screwed together. Hot glue is then injected into the mold. As soon as the glue overflows from the sides of the mold, it can be allowed to cool, and the connector can be removed from the mold. Excess glue can be removed with a sharp knife.
To ensure the connector can be removed from the mold without residue after curing, we recommend a release agent.
