The HobbyZone Apprentice STOL S 700mm is a scaled-down version of one of the most popular training aircraft of all time, making learning to fly model aircraft even easier and more fun! Its ultra-micro size makes it the perfect choice as a smaller trainer model that can be flown in large yards, parks, soccer fields, and other suitable places where larger models typically cannot be handled by beginners. In addition to the "traditional" trainer aircraft design, the model has also been optimized to offer additional STOL (Short Take Off and Landing) characteristics, similar to those of the E-flite^® Timber^® series models. The brushless propulsion system is compatible with common and affordable 300mAh 2S batteries and gives the model the power to fly even in wind (up to 8 km/h), unlike other micro and mini models. This power, combined with the two-wheeled landing gear and oversized tires, allows it to take off almost immediately from asphalt, sand, gravel, and even the grassy areas of many parks and sports fields. The advanced EPO construction is lightweight yet incredibly durable, and the removable wing makes transport, storage, and replacement as convenient as possible. 4-channel control and SAFE technology (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) with "Beginner," "Intermediate," and "Expert" flight modes make it easier to successfully get started in model aviation and even learn initial aerobatic maneuvers such as loops, rolls, and even inverted flight!
