New 2024 version with the following improvements:
- new servos with metal gears (PNP) as standard
- flaps installed (PNP)
- improved foam quality, with a smoother surface
- redesigned, more scale-like cockpit
- ball joints for rudder linkages
- redesigned servo covers in the wing
- servo cable channel and reinforcement profile in the wing covered with adhesive tape (white)
- painted canopy frame
The ASW 15b is a scale-like model with docile yet powerful flight characteristics. This makes the model suitable for pilots transitioning from 2-axis to 3-axis models, as well as for experienced model pilots looking for enjoyable flying.
The use of the standard installed flaps expands the range of applications. Extended thermal flights, steep descents in butterfly configuration, and subsequent precise spot landings are now even easier.
The powerful drive motor helps the model quickly gain altitude even without updrafts.
The robust model, made of EPO foam, is largely pre-assembled and requires very little time for final assembly. The horizontal stabilizer and the wing feature quick-release fasteners, which allow for quick assembly and disassembly of the model.
