New and sensational. These fire extinguishing granules are the perfect solution for the safe storage and, in case of fire, the extinguishing of lithium polymer batteries. The cushion solution is perfect for transporting or charging LiPo batteries. Place it over the battery when charging, and you already have effective and good fire protection.
When shipping LiPo batteries, simply pack them neatly around the battery and you no longer have to worry. With Extron fire extinguishing granules, you are also perfectly prepared for all lithium fires in your workshop. Should a battery ever ignite, you can extinguish it quickly, safely, and above all, cleanly with the granules! The granules are gently applied to the fire. The expanded glass granules enclose the fire and smother it. At particularly high temperatures, the expanded glass melts and spreads over the surface of the burning metal. The melt forms an airtight seal, which crusts over when cooled, extinguishing the metal fire. Re-ignition is effectively prevented.
Extinguishing agents are designed to extinguish burning materials, taking into account their fire class and environment. They are used by fire departments or in automatic fire extinguishing systems. For self-help, they are also kept in mobile units. The fire extinguishing granules are suitable for fire loads of classes D and lithium ions.
Problematic fire loads such as metal fires, battery fires, lithium fires, or flammable liquids can be controlled and extinguished with the granules without causing extinguishing agent damage. The extinguishing effect of the granules on metal fires was tested and confirmed by MPA Dresden using sodium and magnesium fires.
