The Boost 180 V2 is a 28-pole, brushless outrunner motor. It was designed in-house at Pichler based on the latest findings and stands out for its highest quality, top performance, and robustness. What many don't know: In the early 2000s, PICHLER was one of the pioneers in the German market that fully supported the outrunner concept and offered corresponding motors in its product range.
The open design is groundbreaking, meaning the stator and copper winding are fully exposed to the propeller's airflow and are optimally cooled. Only a cool-running motor delivers consistently high performance.
The practical, integrated propeller mount is precisely matched to the propeller sizes used with motors of this class. No additional adapters, e.g., those that require excessive reaming of the propellers and thus weaken them, are necessary.
A stable, milled 4-point mounting ring allows for easy installation in the model. An additional, large ball bearing also "rock-solidly" supports the motor bell housing in the rear area (bell support bearing), ensuring absolute concentricity and preventing damage to the shaft bearings.

The Boost 180 motor replaces gasoline engines with approx. 45 -55cc displacement in terms of performance.
