The -T- in the designation of the YGE-185 Aureus HVT BEC stands for Telemetry. Currently, the following protocols are supported:
- Mikado VBar
- Graupner HoTT V4
- Jeti ExBUS
- Multiplex Sensor BUS V2
- Proprietary YGE protocol for further telemetry connections via e.g. S32 (new Jlog from R² Prototyping). Further protocols are in preparation.
With the optionally available USB adapter, the 185 Aureus HVT-BEC can be extensively configured and updated. During operation, the PWM frequency is always automatically adjusted to the motor's needs and is thus always optimal. Thanks to the new sinusoidal startup of the 185 Aureus HVT, the startup behavior is now SUPER-SMOOTH.
The integrated BEC is adjustable between 5.5V and 12V and delivers a remarkable 10 / 25 Amps of current.
Description:
- The specified current is the maximum continuous full throttle current with good cooling.
- 6 to 12S LiPo, voltage regulation or cutoff at undervoltage.
- BEC 5.5-12V and 10A continuous / 25A Peak - undervoltage detection can be switched off.
- Current limiting
- Undervoltage detection can be switched off
- Speed control (Governor mode).
- Soft start (up to 60 sec. for scale helicopters)
- Active freewheeling, therefore unlimited partial load capability.
- Automatic timing, or adjustable in 6 steps.
- EMF brake adjustable.
- F3A / Acro brake (braking force continuously adjustable in flight).
- Min. and Max. values are logged and can be displayed after the flight in the optional PC tool (e.g. current)
- Speed limit: 240,000 rpm (2-pole)
- Overtemperature / overload warning
- Anti-spark: Reduces the power-on spark.
- Basic programming via mode setup.
- Fine adjustment and selection of the telemetry protocol via PC setup, suitable USB adapter is optionally available.
