The Charly ARF has been optimized for modern electric drives and impresses with fantastic flight characteristics. The model is fully aerobatic capable and completely uncritical to fly over a wide speed range.

The question was, can the cult model Charly be improved even further? The clear answer: Yes, it can.

Thanks to modern manufacturing methods such as laser cutting of components and selected, lightweight materials. A modern brushless electric drive also contributes to the enormous weight saving. The take-off weight could therefore be reduced by about 1000g (you read that right: 1 kilogram). The wide cowl provides a slight braking effect, as it did then, during downward maneuvers in aerobatics, ensuring a smooth and consistent flight pattern. The Charly ARF flies all aerobatic figures very well even with a 3-cell LiPo battery (capacity 3500-4500mAh recommended). Particularly power-hungry pilots can also use a 4-cell LiPo battery (14.8V) if desired. With this, the Charly ARF is over-motorized and climbs vertically at approx. half throttle.
