The DERBEE A-1 Skyraider is a true-to-scale mini-warbird with an 80cm wingspan. The model is very light and compact, making it ideal for flying in confined spaces.

Ready to fly out of the box:
The RC aircraft comes almost ready to fly out of the box and can be assembled and ready for flight in just a few steps. The motor, 4 servos, and ESC are pre-installed. You only need a suitable battery and a receiver to get the A-1 airborne.

Powerful propulsion:
The A-1 Skyraider is powered by a powerful 1200KV brushless motor with a 20A flight controller. In combination with a 3S LiPo battery, the warbird has enough power for spectacular flight maneuvers.

Robust construction:
The pre-painted aircraft model is constructed from durable EPO rigid foam. The material is extremely robust and can be quickly and easily repaired with suitable super glue in case of minor damage.

Stable landing gear:
The RC warbird features rigid and stable landing gear with rubber tires, which forgives even rough landings. This makes takeoffs and landings on flat surfaces no problem. Hand launches are also possible in uneven terrain (but please with extreme caution). Due to its low weight, an extremely short runway is sufficient.

Like a full-size aircraft:
The DERBEE A-1 Skyraider is very compact with its 80cm wingspan, but it is in no way inferior to the original in terms of scale details. Whether it's the engine dummy, armament, rivets, or landing gear – in the air, the model looks like the original. By the way: The A-1 Skyraider is part of DERBEE's Mini Warbird series. In addition to the A-1, an F4U Corsair and a P-51 Mustang are currently also available in the same scale and in various colors.
