The EG500 motors are encapsulated brushless outrunner motors, optimized in terms of weight and size compared to the XM EG30xx series. They therefore represent a completely new design. The mounting hole pattern still corresponds to the now standard "M3 on 16/19 mm".
The front part is designed to fit into slim fuselages and allows for easy installation on F5j models with a 30mm spinner. The cables exit from the rear of the motor, which further simplifies installation.
The open housing and the hollow 5mm motor shaft reduce weight and improve ventilation and cooling.
