Efest IMR 14500 V2, 700mAh 3.7V Li-Ion Battery (Raised Positive Terminal)

A powerful lithium-manganese current cell developed by Efest. Manganese does not react with lithium, so these cells have high inherent safety. A cell specially developed for battery mods and flashlights.

Lithium-ion batteries are thermally stable and do not suffer from any memory effect. They operate on the basis of lithium and are characterized by a high energy density.    

Important notes:

Charging lithium-ion batteries requires a special charger that charges the batteries according to a special charging process. (CCCV = constant current, constant voltage.) The batteries must not be charged above a voltage of 4.2V +-0.05, otherwise there is a risk of fire and explosion.  

It is advantageous to only charge the batteries to approx. 4.1 volts, as this significantly increases the lifespan or the number of charging cycles (potentially up to a doubling).  

Only lithium-ion chargers may be used for charging. However, cheap chargers sometimes have the disadvantage that they do not safely switch off after the charging process, but continue to charge the batteries with a small charging current, which can be dangerous!!!
