Retractable Landing Gear Scale 1:6.0 with Wheel ø 57mm

Since only a few landing gears are available on the market for this scale, WEMO has taken on the challenge and designed a light, yet sturdy retractable landing gear.

The side parts and the steering knuckles of the 1:6.0 scale landing gear with a 57 mm wheel are made of 3.0 mm black colored GRP. All milled edges are chamfered at 45 degrees, so these parts pose no risk of injury and are very pleasant to the touch. The left side panel comes standard with two servo mounts for one servo (wheel drive servo-10 mm). This eliminates the need to purchase an additional servo mount, and the servo for the wheel drive can be installed directly. It is designed for M3 screws, and the holes matching the servo are already present in the servo mount. The matching screws/nuts are included.

Weight-optimized and elegantly designed thanks to CNC-manufactured geometry. Due to the mechanical design, the wheel is firmly locked when extended/retracted. This prevents the wheel from extending due to centrifugal forces, for example during a loop.

The basic equipment consists of:

• the two side panels in 3.0 mm GRP (black)
• the two wheel arms in 3.0 mm GRP (black)
• the necessary spacers
• servo mount for a 10mm servo, e.g., KST DS-135 (wheel drive)
• the swivel mechanism including drive lever
• the necessary stainless steel screws
• 1 solid rubber wheel 57 mm with aluminum rim
