Graupner Hawk 12 Receiver, 2.4GHz HoTT, 3-Axis Gyro, Vario (6-Channel), # S1052
With the Hawk 12, Graupner presents a powerful 6-channel receiver with an integrated 3-axis gyro and a particularly vibration-insensitive 3-axis acceleration sensor, diversity antennas, vario, and attitude mode for fixed-wing models or rescue mode and attitude mode for helicopters.
With GRAUPNER HoTT 2.4GHz technology, the receiver features a secure Hopping-Telemetry-Transmission high-frequency section with high-quality components and state-of-the-art software. The receiver transmits the parameters "receiver voltage", "receiver temperature", "signal strength", "altitude", "altitude difference (vario)" to the transmitter without additional sensors. It is also possible to transmit and display Euler angles on the transmitter.
The antenna amplifier, together with antenna diversity, ensures an enormous range. The faster 32-bit L4 processor guarantees low-power operation, and the higher performance ensures that the Hawk 12 can also be used as a flybarless system for helicopters and as a flight controller for copters. Of course, the integrated Hawk gyro system can also be perfectly used for fixed-wing models. Here there are 4 different gyro modes: OFF, normal stabilization, heading lock, rate mode, and attitude mode. With correct settings, the rate mode allows knife-edge flight and torque rolls without control corrections. Extremely fast, simple, and convenient to set up via the HoTT transmitter telemetry menu.
Fixed-wing models:
- Stabilization of the flight model in difficult wind conditions for up to 3 axes
- Natural flight behavior through proportional gyro blending
- The 3-axis gyro makes even difficult-to-control aerobatic models very gentle to fly, and aerobatics are extremely simplified
- Flight figures can be flown much cleaner
- 4 different gyro modes: OFF, normal stabilization, heading lock, rate mode for especially easy knife-edge flight and easy torque rolls, and attitude mode
- Simple adjustment of gyro assignment
- Parameter adjustment via HoTT telemetry
- Software with attitude mode enables easy landings even in difficult wind conditions
- 5 free mixers
- SUMD output for connection to flybarless systems, flight controllers, or a power box
- SUMDIN input for redundant receiver operation
Flybarless system for helicopters:
- Rescue mode and attitude mode for helicopters
- Basic setup completed in minutes via HoTT telemetry
- Fast and innovative axis assignment for flexible mounting direction
- Extremely space-saving due to size, weight, and elimination of cables, thus easy to accommodate
- Specially vibration-insensitive 3-axis sensors of the latest generation
- Swashplate pirouette optimization and tail torque compensation direction are automatically recognized
- All common heli swashplates 90/120/135/140 degrees and 90 degrees 4 servos
- Adjustable swashplate rotation up to 90 degrees for multi-blade heads
- Clear standard and, if required, selectable expert menu
- Sensitivity parameters adjustable during flight by means of encoders, depending on RPM, style, and even flight phases
- Super fast due to elimination of transmission time from receiver to flybarless system
- Very direct control feeling
Flight Control for Copters:
- Copter software Q07 with Dshot ESC protocol can be uploaded via software update
- Basic setup completed in minutes via the telemetry menu
- Fast and innovative axis assignment for flexible mounting direction
- Specially vibration-insensitive 3-axis sensors of the latest generation
- The housing protects the electronics in the event of crashes. The special double-sided tape additionally dampens vibrations
- 8kHz gyro frequency, multishot and fast PID control routines as well as new software filters ensure a perfect flight experience
- D-Shot with turtle mode
- Quadrotype XI (Quadcopter X with reversed propeller rotation direction), which has proven particularly effective in FPV racing, so that the lens remains clear and the props turn away from obstacles
- If the GPS sensor S8437 is connected to K5/telemetry and K5 is set to SENSOR, the following additional functions are available: GPS hold with altitude hold, Coming home, and flying waypoints (with HoTT Viewer App and USB-OTG cable)
- Telemetry support for own HoTT sensors and HoTT sensors from other providers
- SUMD output for other flybarless receivers
- SUMDIN input for redundant receiver operation
- Voltage input for external voltage divider, e.g., already included in ESCs S3082 and S3083
- HV capable. Input voltage range 3.6...8.4 V
- Can be programmed and operated with all currently available HoTT transmitters with telemetry
Flybarless for Helicopters:
- Easy programming of basic settings via telemetry
- Pirouette optimization is automatically determined from the parameters and works extremely well
- Extreme flight stability with full 3D capability, even with the basic settings
- Effect for tail and swashplate easily adjustable via the telemetry menu or selectable encoders
- Further optimization possibilities in expert mode for personal flight style and personal needs
- Extremely easy adjustment of basic settings via telemetry:
- Rotor direction of rotation
- Swashplate type
- Swashplate frequency 50...200 Hz
- Swashplate direction
- Swashplate servo centers Servo 1...3 (4)
- Swashplate cyclic throw set to 8°
- Swashplate pitch throw A/B
