The epoxy resin system L + Hardener CL has excellent impregnating and wetting properties for glass, aramid and carbon fibers. It is particularly suitable for CFRP coating of components.

• Low viscosity
• High transparency
• Good UV resistance
• Tack-free curing even of the thinnest layers
• Glass transition temperature (Tg) > 90 °C (with warm curing 70 °C / 15 h)
• High static and dynamic strength (corresponds approximately to Epoxy Resin L 285 with Hardener 285)

Pot life: 60 minutes (100 g / 20 °C)

Mixing ratio:
100 : 30 parts by weight Epoxy Resin L : Hardener CL
100 : 35 parts by volume Epoxy Resin L : Hardener CL

The resin system is usually cured at room temperature, but does not develop pronounced brittleness even at curing temperatures below 20 °C (approx. 24 - 48 h). To exploit the full potential and obtain optimal mechanical and physical properties, we recommend additional warm curing at at least 40 °C for 15 h.

Epoxy Resin L + Hardener CL is suitable for the following processing methods:

• Vacuum bagging
• Wet pressing
