Epoxy Resin L + Hardener LT (90 min), 895g Work Pack

  • DETA-free
  • Low viscosity, solvent-free and filler-free
  • Fast impregnation of glass, aramid and carbon fibers
  • Tack-free curing even of the thinnest layers (after warm curing)
  • High static and dynamic strength*
  • Improved milling edge quality
  • Increased heat deflection temperature after warm curing

*Higher rigidity (+ approx. 17%), tendency towards higher strength

The Epoxy Resin L + Hardener LT system can be processed using all common methods such as hand lamination, vacuum and pressure impregnation, as well as pressing and winding. Due to its low surface tension and low curing shrinkage, it is also very well suited for bonding wood, metal, and rigid PS foams such as Styropor® / Styrodur® etc.

Epoxy Resin L with Hardener LT exhibits excellent mechanical properties, such as those required in aircraft construction. However, aviation approval is not available.

Processing time: 90 minutes (100 g / 20 °C)

Mixing ratio:
100 : 25
parts by weight Epoxy Resin L : Hardener LT
100 : 29 parts by volume Epoxy Resin L : Hardener LT

Curing time:
16-24 h at room temperature, followed by 16 h at 70 °C

Tempering is absolutely necessary, otherwise the degree of cross-linking will be too low, resulting in brittleness.
Furthermore, the relative humidity during processing and curing should be below 50%; the lower it is, the better.

Glass transition temperature (Tg)*:
Untempered after 7 days at 23 °C: approx. 52-53 °C
Tempered at 130 °C for 3 h: approx. 102-103 °C
