Why Aeronaut CAMcarbon?

The special features:

The special features of the new CAM folding propellers are the enormous innovations compared to the classicPROP. This new generation, developed by R. Freudenthaler, has an optimized, very thin airfoil design and a computer-calculated airfoil twist, which leads to very high precision with optimal efficiency and low power consumption from the motor.

CAM? What is that...?

CAM stands for "Computer Aided Manufacturing." Unlike the previous classicPROP, the molds for the injection molding process are no longer made by hand but developed on a PC with the help of a CAD (Computer Aided Design) program. The manufacturing of these molds is then controlled by the PC based on the input data. This is a huge advantage, as a more precise mold can hardly be produced, and the final propeller has practically no deviations from the original model.

The material:

The material used is exclusively a mixture of carbon fibers with nylon, which gives the propeller high torsional rigidity and has proven itself for years in our propellers. Carbon is a very strong material, so the propeller retains its shape even under high loads. This is, of course, an advantage over propellers made of fiberglass plastic, which achieve different efficiencies under high loads compared to a CAMcarbon!
