The Original The Cessna 182 is a small, single-engine propeller aircraft that first appeared in 1956, its development based on the Cessna 180. Due to its excellent stability, reliability, versatility, flexibility, and ease of handling, the Cessna 182 plays a significant role in general aviation. It is used in various fields such as private flying, flight training, business travel, aerial photography, air patrols, geographical surveys, and medical emergency rescues.

The Model Officially licensed by Textron Innovations, the FMS Cessna 182 with a 1500 mm wingspan adheres to FMS's long-standing product philosophy: "Perfect appearance, excellent performance." Visually, the new Cessna 182 sets new standards in realism for foam aircraft. Scale details such as cockpit windows, cabin interior, antennas, exhaust outlets, propeller, and navigation lights are faithfully reproduced. While the appearance has been meticulously replicated, the flight characteristics of the Cessna 182 have also been reproduced.

Thanks to high-strength, lightweight EPO materials and a high-wing structure with a large wing area, the aircraft has a low wing loading and a high lift-to-drag ratio. With flaps activated, the FMS Cessna 182 can be precisely controlled even at low speeds and during short takeoffs and landings (STOL) – it takes off from the ground within three meters and flies effortlessly at half throttle in the air.

The aircraft features a tricycle landing gear with shock absorption and large, wear-resistant tires that can withstand heavy landings, allowing beginners to practice takeoffs and landings without concern. In accordance with international navigation light standards, LED lights are integrated into both wings, the tail of the fuselage, and the tip of the vertical stabilizer, enabling worry-free takeoffs and landings in poor light conditions and increasing realism. Robust plastic struts provide additional strength to the wings during aerobatic maneuvers.

Furthermore, the design of the Cessna 182 reflects FMS's consistent approach to product development – rigorous and meticulous. The model uses a practical snap-lock structure, an integrated servo connector design, and ball-linkage for the control surfaces. These measures not only ensure the strength and stability of the aircraft but also significantly simplify assembly at the airfield, allowing for quick enjoyment of flying. The PNP configuration includes a 3541-KV840 brushless motor, a 40A brushless ESC, and seven precise 9g digital servos for ailerons, flaps, nose wheel steering, rudder, and elevator. All electronics are pre-installed and wired in the model, ready for flight.

It is particularly pleasing that the 1500mm Cessna 182 can be equipped with the Reflex V3 Stabilizer system (sold separately), which can be connected via Bluetooth and unlocks custom tuning functions. After downloading the app, users can choose between standard or custom modes according to their preference.
