FORMULA FIVE® Release Paste, 340 g
FORMULA FIVE® Release Paste is a wax-based blend developed for high-gloss surfaces and excellent scrub resistance.
- Contains silicone
- Resistant up to approx. 100 °C
- Very good release effect
Carnauba hard wax with modern synthetic waxes. Produces high-gloss surfaces. Drying time before polishing approx. 10-12 minutes.
Manufacturer's processing instructions:
Rub the wax thoroughly onto the cleaned mold surface. Leave the wax in the mold until it is moderately dry (wax appears cloudy). Polish with a clean cloth, we recommend our cleaning and polishing cloth (item no. 365-SHT), until a clear high gloss is achieved. Wipe the entire mold surface with the cleaning cloth. Note: Use 2 to 3 layers of wax for the first application. Wax and polish as needed.
Consumption: 20-60 g/m2 (amount depends on the condition of the mold surface)
Important note on substrates:
This product contains hydrocarbon-based solvents (see under Additional Information --> Safety Data Sheet). A small proportion (< 2%) of aromatic hydrocarbons is also included. Some plastic surfaces (e.g., polycarbonate, Plexiglas®, various paints, putties) are dissolved by this, so that molding is not possible. This must be checked before use, either using material resistance lists or by a preliminary test.
