R&G # 305130-2
Precise pressing together of mold halves is a prerequisite for a consistently narrow seam. Especially with
asymmetrical layer structures, GRP molds can easily warp. The bending is usually approx. 2 - 3 mm per
meter and leads to a correspondingly wide seam.
By incorporating fasteners close to the mold edge, this inaccuracy can be compensated by pressing the mold halves together.
The Fix-A-Form fastener is used along the mold edge at intervals of approx. 20-30 cm.
Fix-A-Form 3-part consists of:
- Threaded piece: M6 12 x 12 mm
- Pass-through piece: 12 x 12 mm, bore 6.1 mm
- Hex socket screw: M6/ 8.8 x 30, electrogalvanized
Each set contains 1 hex key.
