How often do you have the problem that when using a ball on the servo arm, you get a soft linkage? With the angled clevis, you get a stiff linkage because the servo arm and the servo drive no longer bend. In addition, it is of course possible to operate the servo with a travel of 180 degrees. These are often necessary for operating landing gear, spoilers, or flaps.
With the clevis, it is also possible, for example, to offset a QR linkage in height or, in other words, to place the linkage on the upper side of the wing without raising the servo more than necessary. Here, the linkage remains straight and does not have to be bent, as is often done.
