Thread Adapter M3 for 5mm CFRP Tubes, Pack of 4
This thread adapter is suitable for connecting a 5mm CFRP tube and has a built-in M3x20 threaded rod. Now, the connection between the rudder horn and the servo horn can be made quickly and securely. The ball joint adapter with the firmly injected M3 threaded rod is simply glued onto the cut CFRP tube with some 5-minute epoxy or thick CA glue. The assembled ball joint adapter thus effectively prevents the CFRP tubes from splitting. The resulting servo-rudder horn connection is not only very light and stable, but its low mass also prevents premature wear of the servo gears.
The M3x20 threaded rods are precisely manufactured on CNC machines from hardened steel and then surface-finished. A deviation of the M3 thread, which is common with many M3 threaded rods and represents a major uncertainty factor, is thus reliably excluded.
