In 1931, Edmund Schneider built and flew the first "Baby". Over the years, more than 500 copies of the Grunau Baby were built, and some of them are still flying today. After an extensive development and testing phase, we can confidently say that we have perfectly succeeded in creating a model replica. The result is a very well-flying glider model that impresses with its beautiful flight characteristics. You can fly the model on slopes, in an aero-tow, or even with an electric drive. The model can be built as a pure glider or as an electric glider. The installation of electric spoilers is also possible at your own discretion.
The take-off weight of 2900g was achieved with ORATEX covering and subsequent painting, as well as the E-Brushless drive including battery. With the recommended equipment, the optimal center of gravity was achieved without the addition of trim lead.
