The Electric Cucumber: Eager to fly, even without a slope!

We are proud to present the "Cucumber" as an electric mini "hotliner" by Tim Weißbach! Tim's excellent and well-engineered designs have long intrigued us. Through a collaboration with TIM and RALF GRÜNER, we have managed to make good even better.
We have already impressively demonstrated the manufacturing quality of Grüner-CNC with the Introduction F5J, Inside F5J, and Innovation. Now, Tim Weißbach models will also be produced in the highest laser-cut quality with multi-colored building plans.

The Electric Cucumber is an innovative mini hotliner in a backpack format. The main purpose of this Cucumber variation is "cruising" on flat terrain. With the recommended components, several vertical climbs are possible per battery charge. The quickly gained altitude can then be depleted as desired. The E-Cucumber can handle anything you ask of it. Vertical dives from the limit of visibility, rolls, loops, whatever you want (and can master): A feast for the eyes and ears.

The E-Cucumber is a very special model. The extraordinary method of control via wing warping is almost unique. This allows the tail unit to be fixed and not articulated. A normal V- or delta mixer is sufficient for control. For elevator, the wings are adjusted in the same direction, and for ailerons, in opposite directions. Since a wing warper has no rudder gaps, control horns, or similar external linkage parts, significantly less turbulence is created than would be the case with comparable model gliders with rudders. Furthermore, the MH30 airfoil remains unchanged during control, preserving the excellent properties of this airfoil in every flight attitude. Thanks to the intelligent, magnetically secured wing attachment, the wing can be attached to the fuselage in an instant without tools. This ensures problem-free transport of the aircraft in a backpack. Always with you and versatile.

The Kit:

Assembly is quick and easy thanks to the building plan and cleanly laser-cut parts. Simply prepare the parts, plug them together, and once everything is in place, secure with superglue.
 

Scope of Delivery:

All parts required for the airframe are included in the kit. These include all laser parts, carbon fiber and wood strips, the wing attachment, and all small parts for the wing linkage. Only the finest materials are used - best birch aircraft plywood and hard balsa wood.
