Thanks to the E-flite^® Habu STS (Smart Trainer with SAFE^®) 70mm EDF Jet, it is now possible for the first time to successfully learn to fly a model aircraft with a jet! The Habu STS 70mm EDF is based on the legendary Habu, one of the best high-performance sport jet platforms for EDFs ever developed. E-flite^® engineers have optimized the design to significantly improve the flight characteristics and slow-flight behavior and have given the jet optional features, such as the exclusive Spektrum^™ SAFE^® flight assistant and innovative Smart components. The result is the Habu STS 70mm EDF, which is the easiest-to-fly remote-controlled jet ever. Finally, every pilot can fulfill their dream of flying a jet!

The Ready-To-Fly (RTF) version includes everything you need to fly immediately in one box and is the perfect choice for any beginner. From the Spektrum DXS 2.4GHz remote control, which you can also use with other Bind-N-Fly^® (BNF) and BNF Basic aircraft after you have mastered the Habu STS, to the 3S 4000mAh Smart LiPo battery and a practical S120 USB-C Smart charger that can be used with a variety of USB power sources, everything is included and you don't need to buy anything extra. With the Plug-N-Play^® (PNP) version, experienced model pilots can use their own transmitter, receiver, battery, and charger. For both versions, the powerful brushless drivetrain including telemetry-capable ESC and servos is already pre-installed at the factory.

But the fun doesn't stop by far when you've learned to fly. In Advanced Mode, the Habu STS 70mm EDF is aerobatic capable and can perform maneuvers such as loops, rolls, inverted flight, and more. You can use a 3S LiPo (included with the RTF version, available separately for the PNP version) for the perfect balance of power and flight time, or an optional 4S LiPo for extra speed and thrust without any changes or upgrades to the drivetrain required (4S LiPo and compatible charger sold separately for both versions).

As a bonus, the RTF version includes a Spektrum WS2000 Wireless Simulator Dongle, as well as a serial number to download and activate the RealFlight^® Trainer Edition RC Flight Simulator – a package with a total value of almost EUR 80.-! The simulator features six popular Horizon Hobby trainer aircraft, including the Habu STS 70mm EDF Jet and Virtual Flight Instructor lessons. This package supports you as a new pilot to learn to fly successfully and faster by allowing you to practice on a PC at home or on a laptop almost anywhere!
