With the Hacker A40 V2 series motors, power density and efficiency have been further improved. The new housing design eliminated the need for a thin-section bearing. This innovative concept saves weight and the thin-section bearing itself.
This results in less weight and less friction. Never before have the A40 motors been so powerful. The A40 V2-8-Pole outrunner is ideal for applications where 14-pole motors offer too little speed (e.g. helis or fast motor models). In conjunction with the Hacker 6.7:1 gear, this results in extremely powerful drives for large gliders up to 10kg.
