With the Hacker A40 V2 series motors, power density and efficiency could be further improved. The new housing design eliminated the need for a thin-section bearing. This innovative concept saves weight and the thin-section bearing itself.
This results in less weight and less friction. The A40 motors have never been so powerful. The A40 V2-8-Pole outrunner is ideal for applications where the 14-pole motors offer too little RPM (e.g., helis or fast model aircraft).
