The Hacker A40 V2 series motors have further improved power density and efficiency. The new housing design eliminated the need for a thin-section bearing, an innovative concept that saves both weight and the thin-section bearing itself.
This results in less weight and less friction. The A40 motors have never been so powerful. The A40 V2-8-pole outrunner is ideal for applications where 14-pole motors offer too little speed (e.g., helis or fast model aircraft). In conjunction with the Hacker 6.7:1 gearbox, this results in extremely powerful drives for large gliders up to 10kg.
