With these small motors, Hacker offers entirely new performance ranges in the popular 400 and 480 classes.
High torque with low internal resistance through the use of neodymium magnets and optimized copper fill factor. Completely enclosed housings made of anodized aluminum, except for the mounting holes, offer the best protection against contamination inside the motor and can withstand the occasional bump from a battery.
Whether as a direct replacement for 400-series motors in direct drives or impellers, whether as a geared drive for small softliners up to medium hotliners, or as a ship propulsion, these small all-rounders will always impress! For direct drives with 400 or 480 hole spacing (M3), installation problems are certainly not an issue.
A shaft diameter of 3.17 mm creates a good connection to drivers or spinners. Of course, the shafts are hardened and ground!
The 4.4:1 planetary gearbox from MAXON used in the B40 motors, with newly developed ceramic parts, is ideally suited for high input speeds. Due to the special flanges, a partially integrated mounting of the gearbox is possible, which not only saves installation length but also weight. Here, a 4 mm shaft creates good contact with spinners and drivers.
