Hacker's R&D department has achieved a small quantum leap in the development of the new C54 Glider Competition motors. Extremely high efficiencies were realized through many innovative detailed solutions in design, technology, and quality. Through our capabilities in simulating electric motors, both regarding magnetic flux and mechanical execution, the 4-pole motor concept in conjunction with the robust and precise Glider-Competition gearbox allowed for the development of a drive with an extremely high power-to-weight ratio.
