New hardware – same performance! The iGyro SAT II replaces the previous iGyro SAT; both are forward and backward compatible. All gyro settings in the PowerBox or receiver are absolutely identical. However, we were able to further improve immunity to turbine noise through a new manufacturing process.
As of 12/2024, version 2 is being shipped, recognizable by the Roman numeral II on the housing. A new gyro sensor chip has been implemented here, as the previous chips have been discontinued. The gyro performance is identical to its predecessor; both devices are forward and backward compatible without changing any settings. The iGyro SAT in its first version was already extremely resistant to turbine noise; version II has been made completely immune to it through a special manufacturing process. At this point, our thanks go to our team pilot test team, who provided important insights through countless tests!
The iGyro SAT was specially developed for the new PowerBox PBR receiver series. It allows you to easily upgrade any PowerBox PBR receiver with an iGyro function – Plug n' Play.
The iGyro SAT acts as a sensor module, transmitting data to the receiver via the specially developed FastTrack Bus.
When switched on, the receiver automatically detects a connected iGyro SAT and then provides all setting functions in the CORE transmitter.
Due to its small size, the module can be installed anywhere in the model, and the connection cable can be extended as needed.
Together with a PBR receiver, it forms a compact unit that is in no way inferior to an iGyro 3e or iGyro SRS in terms of control feel and functionality!
