The new iSDT 608PD is an extremely compact charger with impressive capabilities.
A conventional DC power source such as a battery or a power supply with a voltage of 5-30V (240W max.) can be used as power supply, or a USB-C charger (140W max. PD 3.1).
The USB-C port is bidirectional, meaning it can be used as an input for power supply with up to 140W, but also for charging smartphones etc. with max. 100W if a battery is connected to the output. This means that if a flight battery is still full after flying, the energy can be used to charge a smartphone or tablet via USB-C.
The iSDT 608PD cannot discharge, but only shift energy as described above.
1-6s LiXx can be charged with up to 10A. The intelligent fan control and the compact design enable this performance.
Operation can be done via the 3 buttons, but it is much more convenient via the iSD Link app on your smartphone. Here, the iSDT 608PD is simply paired (in the app, press the + button at the top right when the 608PD is switched on, select the device, then briefly disconnect and reconnect the power supply, and the device is connected). All parameters can be set and the individual options selected in this way.
Here is an example of the performance using a 3s 2000mA and 6s 5000mA LiPos:
Max. charging current with DC source at 240W => 3s2000mA up to 10A, 6s 5000mA up to 9.5A
Max. charging current with USB-C PD at 140W => 3s2000mA up to 10A, 6s 5000mA up to 5.5A
