Canopy Latch Complete

Description:

New canopy latch with some great features:

• very strong spring that pushes the pin into the canopy frame (no need to push the pin via the steel cable)
• a metal counterpart for the pin to be glued into the canopy frame (this prevents the pin's seat from wearing out)
• strong steel cable with 1.3 mm (galvanized and very easy to solder)

The miniature Bowden cable with a flat wire core and a PVC sheath is very flexible and easily handles several tight radii. Due to the flat wire core, the cable does not chafe in the radii, as is the case with plastic Bowden cables.
This measure ensures that the cable runs smoothly permanently.
The Bowden cable can be unscrewed from the brass body to be able to cut it and the steel cable to the appropriate length.

• three different wooden formers are included to glue the brass body to the fuselage deck
• due to the different sizes, the distance from the fuselage deck to the canopy frame can be chosen very well
• with the three adhesive points, the Bowden cable can be aesthetically glued into the fuselage
• the brass ball with shoulder is soldered onto the steel cable at the very end
