The semi-scale model of the Czech ultralight training and touring aircraft with a wingspan of 1600 mm is made of almost indestructible extruded polyolefin foam (EPO) with carbon fiber reinforcements. The model is equipped with a brushless motor C3548-800, three-blade propeller 10x6", controller R-50SB, and 7 micro servos.
Ailerons, flaps, rudder, elevator, nose gear, and motor speed are controlled. The model is designed for a 4S LiPo 2600–3300 mAh (min. 30C).

The wing of the EPO foam model consists of two parts with carbon fiber spars and a carbon fiber tube connector. The wing is attached with screws. The ailerons and flaps are independently controlled by two servos each with short straight wire linkages. The model features functional navigation lights and LED landing lights.

The tail unit is also made of EPO foam. The rudder and elevator servos are located in the fin and horizontal stabilizer. The control surfaces are controlled by short straight linkages.

The rigid tricycle landing gear has a steerable nose wheel and a duralumin main landing gear. All wheels are fitted with elegant aerodynamic covers.

To control the model, you can use a 6-channel computer RC set without special functions – in the basic version, the ailerons, flaps, rudder, and nose gear servo are always connected to only one channel via a distribution board in the cabin area. The distribution board also supplies power to the LED lights.

Of course, it would be ideal to use at least a 7-channel computer remote control set, which would allow individual control of the ailerons and flaps. In this case, the aileron and flap servos must be connected with four individual (15-30 cm) extension cables.

The instructions also include a detailed table with proven standard settings for control surface throws, so you can easily prepare the Bristell B23 for flight.
