Kavan Heat Shrink Film TRANSPARENT BLUE, 640mm wide, 2m roll
KAVAN heat-shrink film is made from a very thin and lightweight, high-strength polyester polymer coated with a layer of heat-activated adhesive with pigments of excellent high opacity. It is supplied in rolls with a width of 64 cm and a length of 2 m. The adhesive side is protected with a clear film.
KAVAN heat-shrink film is resistant to model airplane fuels - glow fuel, ignition fuel, and gasoline.
The film thickness is 50-65 µm (including adhesive) and the basis weight is 63-70 g/m² (darker colors are slightly lighter than brighter ones).
The film shrinkage is 5-10%, uniform in all directions.
Common model-building irons and heat guns can be used for ironing, with a working temperature range of approx. 95-180°C. The optimal temperature for attachment to the structure is approx. 95-100°C, the temperature for tensioning is approx. 130-140°C, and for strongly curved surfaces, 140-160°C.
