KAVAN Dispersion Adhesive SUPER, 200g, # KAV56.9961
PVA fast-drying dispersion adhesive for classic model aircraft construction and for general hobby use. For bonding wood, paper, expanded polystyrene, cork, etc. It is particularly suitable for bonding porous materials. It is supplied in optimal consistency for direct use without thinning. The cured adhesive is moisture resistant. An improved formula for easier sanding and longer durability.
Properties:
- Initial color: white
- Final color: clear
- Odorless and without dangerous chemicals
- Working time (until gelling): approx. 5–15 minutes (20–25 °C)
- Bonded parts can be stressed: after 20–30 minutes
- Full strength: after 60 minutes
- Full curing: 24 hours
- Moisture resistance
Removing excess uncured adhesive:
Cloth or paper towel moistened with water.
Adhesive thinning:
The adhesive is supplied in a consistency optimal for use. Thinning by adding a maximum of 5% water may be allowed without negatively affecting the adhesive's properties.
Suitable for bonding: soft and hard wood, particle board, plywood, expanded polystyrene, cork, fabric, and other porous materials.
Unsuitable for: metal, plastics, glass, and other non-porous materials.
Storage:
In a tightly sealed package, cool, dry, and dark (at temperatures between 10–25 °C). Do not expose the adhesive to temperatures below 5 °C and never to frost. Before use, thoroughly mix the adhesive – if you do not use the adhesive for a longer period, we recommend mixing it once a month.
Shelf life:
If the conditions for proper storage are met, the manufacturer guarantees a shelf life of 1 year in the unopened original packaging while maintaining the above-mentioned product properties.
The mixture is not classified as hazardous according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
