The model's fuselage is made of high-strength EPO foam (extruded polyolefin) with fixed internal carbon fiber reinforcements. The C3548-750 brushless electric motor with an 11x8-inch folding propeller and a KAVAN R-50SB controller with a powerful BEC, necessary for powering 4 strong micro servos on board, is built into the nose. The canopy is removable and secured at the front with a pin and at the back with a magnet. Underneath the canopy, there is enough space for a drive battery and a receiver. The rudder and elevator servos are located in the tail, and the control surfaces are operated by short straight linkages.

The model's wing, made of EPO foam, is a two-piece design with carbon fiber tubes, whose protruding parts also serve as wing connectors and fit into duralumin housings in the fuselage. The wing halves are secured with a plastic screw. The ailerons spanning the entire wingspan (reinforced with carbon fiber tubes) are independently controlled by two servos with short, straight wire linkages.

The tail sections are also made of EPO foam with carbon fiber tube reinforcements. The horizontal stabilizer is attached to the fuselage with two screws and can be easily assembled and disassembled.

The model is powered by a C3548-750 class brushless motor with a 50 A KAVAN R-50SB controller.

For power, you need a 4-cell LiPo pack with a capacity of 2200–2700 mAh and a minimum discharge rate of 30C.

Ideally, use a 6-channel computer RC set that allows independent control of ailerons by two servos and a mix for the airbrake. In this case, both ailerons move upwards. If so, the Y-cable for the ailerons in the fuselage must be replaced by two individual (15–30 cm) extension cables. Of course, the instructions also include a detailed table with a proven standard setting for control surface throws (including mixers), so you can easily prepare your Swift S-1 for flight.
