VIBE is a high-performance biplane 3D aerobatic park flyer made of EPP foam, powered by a 350-500W brushless electric motor. A few hours with superglue in hand are enough to complete this model. You can then enjoy F3A standard category figures as well as 3D aerobatics! The model is also suitable for less experienced pilots. With smaller deflections, anyone who has at least some aerobatic experience and is able to reliably fly loops, turns, and rolls can fly it. Thanks to the model's low weight, an accident will not cause too much damage – and EPP parts are easy to repair!
The one-piece wing with large ailerons has a symmetrical profile. Carbon fiber spars ensure rigidity, and there are, of course, pre-made servo bays in the lower wing.
The pylon strut for the upper wing, reinforced with plywood parts, is part of the fuselage; the interplane struts are made of EPP with carbon fiber reinforcements. The fuselage is profiled with a horizontal section reinforced with carbon fiber profiles. The vertical section with a large side area ensures perfect knife-edge flight.
The well-thought-out design includes a plywood motor mount attached to the fuselage with carbon fiber profiles. The servo bays for the elevator and rudder are located in the fuselage.
The tail surfaces are also made of EPP with carbon fiber reinforcements. The ailerons, rudder, and elevator are controlled by short, direct carbon fiber or steel linkages.
The main landing gear is made of carbon fiber with two lightweight wheels and EPP covers. It is mounted with two screws to a fiberglass support plate, which is attached to the fuselage with fiberglass brackets. The tail wheel, with a 3D-printed console and a lightweight foam wheel, is connected to the rudder.
To control the model, you will need at least a 4-channel RC set that allows for setting dual rate and exponential throws.
