"JK" Retract Engine Control with Programming Adapter, Uni Connection SM # 1000

For the fully automatic control of electric retract engines in large gliders.

Version for engines of the type Köllner / Braekler and similar.

A three-position switch on the transmitter controls the entire retract engine with three servos (1x engine arm and 2x cover flap) plus speed controller and tow release servo via a single receiver channel! Three additional limit switches prevent malfunctions even if, for example, a servo or the mechanism is defective. All servo values are programmed with the included programming adapter and permanently stored in the non-volatile memory of the processor.

An extension process proceeds as follows:

• Three-position switch on the transmitter forward
• the engine's cover flaps open, the engine arm slowly extends
• the engine's cover flaps close again
• the motor slowly accelerates to full throttle

The retraction process is analogous:

• Three-position switch on the transmitter back
• the motor slowly decelerates, the engine's cover flaps open
• the engine arm slowly retracts
• the engine's cover flaps close again

For the entire process, you only need to flip a single switch on the transmitter!

This makes a retract engine as simple as a direct drive in the fuselage nose!
