Pultrudierte CFK-Rechteckstäbe aus hochfesten Kohlenstofffasern und Epoxidharz eignen sich ideal für leichte und hochbelastbare Konstruktionen mit Belastung in Längsrichtung. Sie werden im kontinuierlichen Strangziehverfahren (Pultrusion) aus 3K-HT-Carbonfasern (z. B. Torayca® T300/T700 oder vergleichbar) und einer duroplastischen Epoxidharzmatrix hergestellt.
Durch dieses Fertigungsverfahren sind die Fasern unidirektional, also vollständig in Längsrichtung ausgerichtet. Dadurch entstehen Profile mit sehr hoher Festigkeit und Steifigkeit in Faserrichtung, hohem Faservolumenanteil sowie geringem Luftporengehalt.
