The silver-plated KONTRONIK connector system is gaining more and more popularity. It is made of silver-plated brass, hollow inside, and thus combines all the requirements for a good connector system:
- Good contact reliability: Due to its mechanical design without lamellae on the plug but with the slotted socket, high contact reliability is guaranteed.
- Very good contact resistance: The silver-plated surface guarantees excellent electrical conductivity.
- Good solder connections: The cable can be easily soldered longitudinally and transversely into the hollow base.
Low weight, short design, and a secure contact - these are the prerequisites for a competition-ready connector system. It was therefore used very frequently at the last World Championships. Thanks to increasing demand, the price could be drastically reduced.
